2 Compaq ProLiant 8500 Servers I/O Module Upgrade Guide IMPORTANT: Refer to the section, "Preparing the Server for the Upgrade," for a list of the ProLiant DL760 supported operating systems. Also, the server will only support three 5V I/O expansion boards and eight 3.3V I/O expansion boards. For detailed PCI/PCI-X expansion slot information, refer to the "PCI-X and PCI Bus Distribution Guidelines PCI-X and PCI Bus Distribution Guidelines" section of this document. NOTE: The I/O module upgrade will take approximately two to four hours to complete. Duration may vary from case to case.
