Using the DCS-2000 with an Internet browser (continued) Configuration > Advanced > DDNS & UPnP (Continued) Enable DDNS ProviderHost nameUsername/E-mailPassword/Key- UPnP Click to enable the DDNS function. Select your Dynamic DNS provider from the pull down menu. Enter the host name of the DDNS server. Enter your username or e-mail used to connect to the DDNS server. Enter your password or key used to connect to the DDNS server. UPnP is short for Universal Plug and Play, which is a networking architecture that provides compatibility among networking equipment, software, and peripherals. The DCS-2000 is a UPnP enabled internet camera. If your operating system is UPnP enabled, the device will be easier to configure. If you do not want to use the UPnP functionality, it can be disabled by unselecting the Enable UPnP check box. Click Apply to make changes effective 42
