Cannot be set for speeds lower than 100FX/Half Gigabit (GX) Auto (default) 1000SX/Full (1000 Mbps Full Duplex) Port does not operate in half duplex and cannot be set for lower speed. Link Status Status can be Link up or Link down. Link status indicates speed and duplex mode when the link is up. Packets can only pass through when the link is up. No packets can pass through the port when the link is down. If link status changes either up or down, the changes appear in the menu you are currently viewing, even when you are not in the Port Configuration menu. Exiting the menu or refreshing the screen with Control + R removes the message. Slot The physical module and the number of ports the module has. TX indicates Ethernet ports, FX indicates fiber optic ports and GX indicates gigabit ports. Follow these steps to configure the port: 1. Use the tab and arrow keys to select the appropriate panel and port. 2. Use the space bar to toggle between selected options. 3. Select Save and press Enter. Follow on screen instructions.
