Link Status
Status can be Link up or Link down. Link status indicates speed and duplex mode
when the link is up. Packets can only pass through when the link is up. No packets
can pass through the port when the link is down. If link status changes either up or
down, the changes appear in the menu you are currently viewing, even when you
are not in the Port Configuration menu. Exiting the menu or refreshing the screen
with Control + R removes the message.
Slot
The physical module and the number of ports the module has. TX indicates
Ethernet ports, FX indicates fiber optic ports and GX indicates gigabit ports.
Follow these steps to configure the port:
1.
Enable or disable the port using the drop down list.
2.
Set the Physical value with the drop down list.
