You need third party monitoring software to monitor traffic. Monitoring software is not included in the switch. Port Monitoring
The Port Monitoring panel, shown in Figure 31, enables you to monitor specific
ports for network traffic and packet type. You need third party monitoring

port. Transmitted and received refer to packets that are transmitted from and
received by the port.
