Section 4 - Configuration Audio HDMI There are 2 options for Audio with an HDMI connection: Passthrough or Stereo. Passthrough will send the raw undecoded audio from the source. This option is required for 5.1 surround sound (Dolby Digital Plus). If your TV does not support Dolby Digital Plus, select Stereo. This will set the audio to 2-channel stereo. HDMI
There are 2 options for Audio with an HDMI connection:
