DIRECTV® HD DVR RECEIVER USER GUIDE GENIE™ (ADV WHOLE-HOME) HD DVR In any configuration, your Genie HD DVR offers the following features in addition to those of a DIRECTV HD DVR: Record up to 5 programs simultaneously Store up to 200 hours of HD programming (Actual recording capacity varies based on type of programming being recorded.) Get full HD DVR functionaltiy in every room Watch two shows at the same time with Picture In Picture (Feature is only available on the TV connected to the Genie HD DVR.) *NOTE: The Genie receiver will work with any other DIRECTV HD DVRs, HD Receivers and Clients that are connected to and compatible with Adv Whole-Home and Whole-Home service, so you can play, pause, rewind and delete recorded content that's on your Genie DVR from any room in the house. However, you will not be able to record content to the Genie from any connected HD DVR (You can only schedule recordings for that specific HD DVR).
