Installing the PowerEdge System in the Rack The subsections that follow include instructions for installing the PowerEdge system. Installing the Rack Adapters To install the rack adapters on the computer, perform the following steps. The following procedure is required only if you are converting a PowerEdge 2400 system from a tower chassis to a rack-ready chassis. CAUTION: The computer may weigh up to 32 kg (70 lb) when fully loaded. To prevent personal injury, do not attempt to move the computer by yourself. 1. Installing the Rack Adapters
To install the rack adapters on the computer, perform the following steps.
The following procedure is required only if you are converting a PowerEdge 2400
system from a tower chassis to a rack-ready chassis.
