ENGLISH Advanced Setup - Part 2 ¢ Adjusting the test tone using the remote control unit Adjustment of the test tones using the remote control unit is only possible in the "Auto" mode and only valid in the STANDARD (Dolby/ DTS Surround) mode. The adjusted levels are automatically stored for the different surround modes. 1 Press [TEST TONE]. • Test tones are output from the different speakers. • The crossover frequency mode is valid only when subwoofer is set to "ON", and when one or more speakers are set to "Small", as described in section "Setting the Speaker Configuration" ( page 54, 55). • If "LFE+Main" is set at "Subwoofer Setup", "SW:LFE+Main" ( page 55) is displayed at the top right of the screen. 2 Press F G to adjust the volume. 3 Press [TEST TONE]. • Set to "80 Hz" when using regular speakers. When using small speakers, we recommend setting to a higher frequency. Setting the Crossover Frequency
Set the frequency (Hz) below which the bass sound of the various
speakers is to be output from the subwoofer.
For speakers that are set to “Small”, frequencies under the crossover
frequency are cut before the signal is output, and the low frequency
component that was cut is output from the subwoofer or the
speakers that are set to “Large”.
