Printing is too slow. ● It takes a few moments for PictureMate to process your images before printing them. ● If PictureMate is in a hot or sunny location, move it to a cooler place and try printing again. ● If you print continuously for 30 minutes, PictureMate may slow down to prevent overheating. Leave the printer powered on, but allow it to cool off by not printing for at least 30 minutes. For faster printing, try these tips: ● Don't print more than 40 pictures at a time. ● Photos with borders print faster than borderless photos. ● Turn off special features such as color effects and red-eye reduction. ● If PictureMate is connected to a USB hub, disconnect any USB devices that you're not using. The remote control doesn't work. ● Make sure the power light is on. If PictureMate is in standby mode (the power light is orange), you can turn it on by pressing the P On button on the remote control. If the power light is off, you need to press the P On button on the printer itself. ● Make sure you are close enough (within 16 feet) and you point the remote directly at the printer. ● Make sure the battery is correctly installed in the remote control. You may need to replace the battery. See page 69. You can't save photos from the Photo Storage menu. The Photo Source may be set to External Device or Print History. You can only back up photos that are on a memory card. See page 32. You can't raise PictureMate's handle straight up. The handle is not designed to go all the way up. 72
