Basic Operation > Selecting Options and Entering Data You can select and start options and enter data to customize your GPSMAP 96/96C to fit your personal needs. This requires movement of the cursor, which is identified in this manual as highlighting, selecting, or choosing an item in a list or a field on the screen. Use ENTER and ROCKER to select options, enter names and numbers in data fields, and start your selections. To select an option: use the ROCKER to highlight it and press ENTER to start. Options Menu Options that are grayedout are not available. 3. Press ENTER to start the feature. If another window appears with more options, select the an option, and press ENTER again. 4. To exit a menu or return to the previous setting, press QUIT. The QUIT moves backwards through your steps. When pressed repeatedly, the QUIT returns to the main page you started from. Use the ROCKER to highlight an on-screen button, and then press ENTER. To select and start an option: 1. With any page shown, press MENU.
