Explanation The commit request received from the remote switch is rejected. The reason for the failure is shown in the error message. Recommended Action If you purchased Cisco support through a Cisco reseller, contact the reseller directly. If you purchased support directly from Cisco Systems, contact Cisco Technical Support. Introduced Cisco MDS SAN-OS Release 2.1(1a). Error Message IVR-3-DDAS_LOCK_TIMER_EXPIRED: IVR database lock is released, as device-alias commit/abort notification is not received in the expected time frame. Explanation When device-alias sends the validation request, the IVR database is locked and a timer is started. For any reason, if device-alias commit/abort notification is not received within the expected time frame, the lock timer expires and the lock is released. If device-alias commit notification is received after the lock is released, the changes are not applied and this could cause inconsistency between IVR and device-alias. Recommended Action No action is required. Introduced Cisco MDS SAN-OS Release 3.1(1). OL-15956-01 Cisco MDS 9000 Family System Messages Reference 2-173
