Explanation This interface belongs to a PortChannel and the remote switch WWN of the interface is different from that of the PortChannel. Recommended Action Ensure that this interface is connected to the same remote switch as all the other interfaces in the PortChannel. Introduced Cisco MDS SAN-OS Release 1.2(2a). Error Message PORT-5-IF_DOWN_TCP_KEEP_ALIVE_EXPIRED: Interface [chars] is down(TCP conn. closed - Keep alive expired). Explanation The TCP session to the FCIP peer was closed because of the loss of the TCP keep alive. Recommended Action You may have lost IP connection. Enter the show interface and show ip route CLI commands or use a similar Fabric Manager/Device Manager procedure to provide the IP address of the peer and the route used to connect to this FCIP peer.
