IMPORTANT: Processor socket 1 must always be populated. If processor socket 1 is empty, the workstation blade does not power up. NOTE: Do not discard the processor protective cover. Always install the processor protective cover if the processor is removed from the socket. To remove the component: 1. Power down the workstation blade (on page 11). 2. Remove the workstation blade (on page 11). 3. Access the internal workstation components (on page 12). 4. Remove the heatsink. 5. IMPORTANT:
Processor socket 1 must always be populated. If processor socket 1 is empty, the

NOTE:
Do not discard the processor protective cover. Always install the processor protective
cover if the processor is removed from the socket.
To remove the component:
