Front Fan The front fan sits against the front on the left side of the chassis. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 92). 2. Remove the computer access panel (Computer Access Panel on page 99). 3. Disconnect the fan control cable from the red system board connector labeled CHFAN. 4. Lift the fan straight up and out of the chassis.
