Assigns a name to the MAC extended access list. The maximum character
limit is 64.
Command
Modes
Global configuration mode
Description
Use this command to create an extended MAC access list. If the ACL is already created, this
command puts the switch in the extended MAC access-list configuration mode. Use the
no mac
access-list extended
command to remove the access list.
Extended ACLs allow you to filter traffic based on the following:
Source MAC address
Destination MAC address
EtherType

Usage
