Usage Guidelines The following guidelines apply when using this command: • An error displays if there is no startup configuration file, for example: switch #copy startup-config file2 % Error: No Startup-config. • Use the write memory command to add entries in the startup configuration file. • Use the write erase command to delete entries from the startup configuration file. Examples To copy the startup configuration file to the local switch: switch#copy startup-config file2 Building configuration... switch#copy startup-config flash://file2 Building configuration...
