Selection of Site Personnel Depending on the complexity of the computer system, the customer is responsible for selecting a Site Coordinator, Principal Operator, and a Site Planning Team. Depending on customer requirements, the Principal Operator may or may not perform all of these tasks. In some installations there may be two or three people assigned to the various "operator" responsibilities. Site Coordinator The Site Coordinator is responsible for the following tasks: • Establishing and maintaining site preparation schedules • Coordinating construction efforts • Being the primary liaison with Hewlett-Packard representatives Principal Operator The Principal Operator is responsible for the following tasks: • System operation • Monitoring site preparation 10 Chapter 1
