Notes on Using Commands • Execute the HDLM command from the VMware vSphere CLI on the remote management client. • To specify a parameter value containing one or more spaces, enclose the entire value in double quotation marks ("). • If you perform either of the following operations, the length of time required to perform the operation (number-of-paths x one second) depends on the number of paths that are managed by HDLM: ¢ An online or offline operation to change the status of paths ¢ A set operation to change the load-balance settings Viewing Path Information This section explains how to display path information by using an HDLM command. To display path information, execute the dlnkmgr command's view operation with the -path parameter specified. The following example shows how to execute the command: >dlnkmgr -s host-name -u user-name -p password view -path To display information only for the paths accessing the specified host device, execute the dlnkmgr command's view operation with the -path and -hdev parameters specified. Notes on Using Commands
Execute the HDLM command from the VMware vSphere CLI on the remote
