NOTE: It is recommended that all maintenance be done in the kitchen or bathroom on a water resistant surface. Remove water tank from unit before moving. CLEANING YOUR FILTER The filter should be cleaned every 1-3 months depending on your water quality. Keep in mind, depending on your water quality, mineral deposits can still clog or discolor the filter, affecting the performance of your humidifier. It is recommended you clean your filter in the bathroom or kitchen. Keep in mind your filter may be damp depending on your last usage. Note: Filter is contained in a filter holding frame. Please do not remove filter from frame or it may be damaged. Do not discard your filter or frame. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Turn off and unplug your humidifier. Step 5 Remove the water tank and motor housing and carefully set aside. Remove filter holding frame and filter from the unit. Soak filter in 2 tsp vinegar per gallon of water. Step 6 Step 7 Let stand for 20 minutes. Insert filter frame back into the base of the humidifier. Note: Do Not Wring or Squeeze Filter. Replace motor housing and water tank.
