Removing and replacing a FRU Some Mini PCI Cards do not have the modem function. For those cards, skip step 7 because there is no modem connector on it. 6 7 8 6 When installing: With the notched end of the card toward the socket, insert the card into the socket, and then press it firmly. Pivot the card until it snaps into place. Make sure that the card is firmly fixed in the slot and does not move easily. ThinkPad T30 73
