5.1.1 Using Active PCI Manager The Active PCI Manager interface is shown in Figure 5-3. The details of your system configuration are available in three ways by clicking the appropriate tab: Slot view, Figure 5-3 Tree view, Figure 5-5 on page 135 Table view, Figure 5-6 on page 136 Figure 5-3 x440 slot view In the slot view, we see a graphical representation of our ServeRAID adapter in slot 2 of the x440 and the other slots empty. The orange bar above the adapter indicates that the adapter present in that slot is hot-swappable. The tree pane in this view (lower left) shows there is an RXE-100 attached to the server. By selecting the RXE-100, the graphical view changes to show the six or 12 slots in that enclosure. The details pane in this view (lower right) includes information about the currently selected item in the tree pane or the currently selected slot. In Figure 5-3, the server is selected and the details pane shows information about the system and its slots, including: Chassis Number: The x440 is assigned chassis number 0.
