The RXE-100 has six PCI-X slots standard, upgradable to 12 PCI-X slots, giving the customer up to a total of 12 PCI-X or 18 PCI-X slots respectively. In addition to the single-node configurations, three additional two-node configurations are possible: A single 16-way system comprised of two eight-way x440 nodes, as shown in Figure 1-2 on page 5.
