Level 1 is the pop-out panel as shown in Figure 1-14. 2. For further investigation, there are Light Path Diagnostics LEDs visible through the top of the server. This requires the server to be slid out of the rack. 3. For the third level of diagnostics, LEDs on the planar indicates the component causing the error. The pop-out panel (Figure 1-14) also has a Remind button. This places the front panel system-error LED into remind mode, which means it flashes briefly every 2 seconds. By pressing the button, you acknowledge the failure but indicate that you will not take immediate action. If a new failure occurs, the system-error LED will turn on again. Light Path Diagnostics panel on the x440
The Light Path Diagnostics on the x440 has three levels:
1.
Level 1 is the pop-out panel as shown in Figure 1-14.
