When testing on the distress/safety channel is unavoidable, it should be indicated that these are test transmissions. Normally the test call would require no further communications between the two stations involved. q Push [MENU] to enter the DSC menu. w P ush [s] or [t] to select "TEST CALL," and then push [ENT].
