Selecting the Dolby digital output You can select the format for your digital audio output If you have connected an amplifier or receiver to the SPDIF jack on your TV. To select the Dolby digital output: 1 Press TiVo. The Home screen opens. Press S or T to select Settings, then press X or SELECT. 2 Press S or T to highlight Settings, then press X or SELECT. You can select: • Dolby Digital (preferred)-Outputs audio in Dolby Digital format if your amplifier or receiver has a Dolby Digital decoder. • Dolby Digital to PCM-Outputs audio in 2-channel stereo. Dolby Digital Output If you have connected an amplifier/receiver to the digital audio (SPDIF) output on the TV, select a compatible format. 10:00pm Enables audio in Dolby Digital format. Choose this if your amplifier/receiver has a Dolby Digital decoder.
