Setting parental controls Parental controls let you control what your children watch on TV. When set, parental controls read the rating of the program (with some exceptions, such as news and sports) and deny access to programs that exceed the rating level you select. To watch programs that exceed the selected rating, you must enter your PIN (password). Setting the PIN (password) To set PIN (password): 1 Press TiVo. The Home screen opens. Press S or T to select Settings, then press X or SELECT. 2 Press S or T to highlight Parental Controls, then press X or SELECT. Setting parental controls
Parental controls let you control what your children watch on
TV. When set, parental controls read the rating of the program
(with some exceptions, such as news and sports) and deny
access to programs that exceed the rating level you select. To
watch programs that exceed the selected rating, you must
enter your PIN (password).
