Connecting a component video device Connecting digital audio output You can connect your TV audio output to a digital amplifier. RF INPUT RF INPUT To connect to a digital audio amplifier: 1 Remove the port cover from the back of your TV. 2 Plug a coaxial cable (2) into the amplifier (3) and into the COAXIAL jack (1) on the back of your TV. To connect a progressive-scan or HDTV video source to Y/Pb/Pr jacks: 1 Remove the port cover (1) from the back of your TV. 2 Plug a component video cable (4) into the progressive-scan or HDTV video device (3) and into the Y/Pb/Pr jacks (1) on the back of your TV. 3 Plug the RCA audio cables (2) into the audio out jacks on progressive-scan or HDTV video device and into the lower AUDIO L and AUDIO R jacks on the back of your TV. 4 Turn on your TV. 5 Press INPUT, then press / to select YPBPR. www.insignia-products.com 11
