5 WHEELCHAIR OPERATION 5.8 Disengaging/Engaging the Wheel locks ƽ WARNING DO NOT use the wheel locks when the wheelchair power is on and the clutches are engaged - otherwise damage to the wheelchair may result.  For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 15. Use the wheel locks whenever the clutches are disengaged and the wheelchair is being pushed. Engaging 1. Push handle forward away from tire to engage wheel lock. 2. Repeat STEP 1 for opposite wheel. Disengaging 1. Pull handle back toward tire to disengage wheel lock. 2. Repeat STEP 1 for opposite wheel. Engaging
1.
