Displaying the RX History 1 Access Menu No. 600. 4 Select a number for registration and press [ENT]. The TX messages is selected Each press of [PTT] transmits the selected message. 2 Select a list and press [A/B]. The RX history details screen appears. 3 Press [A/B]. The RX history GPS screen appears. Registering the Callsign from the RX History 1 Access Menu No. 600. 2 Select the list and press [ENT]. The Callsign registration screen appears. TX HISTORY Up to 20 entries can be stored in TX history for signals transmitted in DV/DR mode. The TX history is not cleared when the power is switched off. Once transmitted, a combination of Callsigns (FROM and TO) is stored together, so you can restore the transmission settings of that time with one touch by pressing [A/B] for the selected TX history. Displaying the TX History 1 Select [TX History] in the Digital Function Menu. The TX history list screen appears. Clearing the RX History 1 Access Menu No. 600. 2 Select the list and press [MODE]. The selected RX history are cleared. All RX history are cleared by pressing [MODE] (1s). TX MESSAGES A message of up to 20 characters can be transmitted during voice communications in DV/DR mode. Up to five transmission messages can be registered. Registering the TX Messages 1 Access Menu No. 611. 2 Select a list and press [A/B]. The transmission settings are changed and return to the frequency screen. Note: ◆◆ Entries are not stored in TX history for the data mode, Callsign squelch/ Code squelch, and BK call. Clearing the TX History 1 Select [TX History] in the Digital Function Menu. 2 Select the list and press [MODE]. The selected TX history are cleared. All TX history are cleared by pressing [MODE] (1s). 2 Select a number for registration and press [A/B]. CALL WITHIN ZONE Call within Zone is an indirect communication via a different repeater within the zone. Note: ◆◆ Call within Zone is not connected with the Internet. The TX message editing screen appears. 3 Enter the messages. Setting the Access Repeater (FROM) 1 Select [Route Select] in the Digital Function Menu. 2 Select [Local NW] and press [ENT]. The world region selection screen appears. 3 Select your region and press [ENT]. The country region selection screen appears., country, and group selection screen appears. 4 Select your country and press [ENT]. The group selection screen appears. 5 Select your area group and press [ENT]. The repeater list selection screen appears. 6 Select a nearby repeater from the repeater names or state/prefecture names and press [ENT]. The access repeater is set to [FROM]. 16-6
