Settings [Check HDD Capacity] [Overwrite All Data] [HDD Format] [HDD EncryptSetting] Description Enables you to check the used space, total space and available space on the hard disk. Overwrite all data saved on all areas of the hard disk when disposing of this machine. To perform delete by overwriting, select a mode in [HDD Overwrite Meth], then press the [Start] key. To encrypt data on the hard disk, select [Start], then enter the encryption word (using 20 characters, case-sensitive). Entering the encryption word restarts this machine to format the hard disk. [OFF] is specified by default. Note If a hard disk encryption setting is configured, the hard disk is formatted, and data saved on the hard disk is erased. Therefore, we recommend that you finish a hard disk encryption setting before using this machine. Tips This function is available when an optional Hard Disk is installed.
