10.4 Monitoring this machine by SNMP Manager 10 10.4 Monitoring this machine by SNMP Manager Configure settings to monitor this machine using the SNMP manager. Using the SNMP manager, you can communicate with the SNMP agent of this machine and get, manage, and supervise this machine information via the network. The SNMP can be used in the TCP/IP environment or IPX/SPX environment. Also, you can send this machine status information to others using the SNMP TRAP function. For details, refer to page 10-18. Use the following flowchart to configure settings. Clicking a step jumps to the associated procedure.
