Selecting the Country for the Internal ThinkPad Modem To use the internal ThinkPad modem outside the country where you purchased the computer, you must change the country name. 1 In the Windows 98 desktop, click on Start. 2 Move the cursor to Programs and ThinkPad Modem. Then click on Country Selection Utility. The following window appears: Put the required information in the window. 3 Click on OK. Note: Check the IBM Web site for the latest information.
