HPM が付属した ThinkManagement Console のインストール・パッケージを入手するには、Web サイト
(http://www.landesk.com/lenovo) でダウンロードするように登録します。登録を完了すると、インストー
ル・パッケージと、インストール後にコア・サーバーのアクティべーションを行うために必要な LANDesk
資格情報をダウンロードするリンク先が記載された電子メールが届きます。
インストール・パッケージをダウンロードしたら、以下の手順に従って、コア・サーバーのインス
トールを完了してください。
1. 管理者特権でサーバーにログオンします。
2. ThinkManagement82D.exe インストール・パッケージを展開します。簡単にアクセスできるように、イ
ンストール用ソース・ファイルの展開先となるパスをクリップボードにコピーします。
3. インストール・パッケージを展開した場所から、ThinkManagement Console の Autorun.exe を実行しま
す。コア・サーバーで「インストール (Install)

プトに従い、インストール後に「今すぐ再起動する (Restart

4. Core Server Activation Utility に LANDesk コンタクト名およびパスワードを入力して、コア・サーバー
のアクティべーションを行います (インターネット接続が必要です)。
5. 以下のように LDAP サーバーを構成します。

HARDWARE PASSWORD MANAGER サーバーと LDAP 認証サーバーをネットワークに接続
します。

ThinkManagement Console を起動します。

ツールボックスに、「HPM 登録済みユーザー (HPM Enrolled Users)」、「HPM グループ (HPM
Groups)」、「リモート・アクションとポリシー設定 (Remote Actions and Policy Settings)」という 3
つの項目を持つ ThinkVantage Hardware Password Manager グループが表示されます。「HPM

認証サーバーとして機能する LDAP サーバーの情報を入力します。LDAP サーバーに関して以下の
項目を定義する必要があります。

注：cn=admin name, o=admin context の使用が勧められています。「バインド制限 (Bind
Restrictions)」が「なし (None)」に設定される場合、admin name.admin context は機能する可能
性がありますが、「バインド制限 (Bind Restrictions)」が「匿名単純バインドの禁止 (Disallow
anonymous simple bind)」に設定される場合、admin name.admin context は機能しません。

パスワード (Password): LDAP サーバーの許可ユーザーのパスワード。
