Understanding MFP messages Message Meaning Action Memory full, cannot print faxes The attempt to print the fax jobs is automatically canceled. The Fax code recognizes that the fax job is canceled and does not delete pages in the fax job that have not printed. The Fax code does not attempt to reprint the fax causing the memory error until the MFP goes through a power on reset. Touch Continue to clear the message. Turn the MFP off and then on to reset it. Reattach bin [x] The MFP detects that output bin [x] is missing or installed incorrectly, where x is the number of the bin. This message occurs when pages are formatted when the bin is present, but before the pages are printed. Between the formatting and printing time, the optional bin is removed from the MFP. • Touch Continue to clear the message and continue normal operation without using the specified output bin. • Turn the MFP off, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, reattach the specified bin, connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet, and then restart the MFP. • Touch Reset Active Bin to change to another linked set of bins. Reattach bins [x]-[y] The MFP detects that output bins x-y are missing or installed incorrectly, where x and y are the numbers of the first and last bin in a group. For instance, if the MFP supported 10 bins, the message would list Bin 1 Bin 10 even though all 10 bins are affected. This message occurs when pages are formatted when the bin is present, but before the pages are printed. Install the optional envelope feeder. Remove paper from all bins All output bins are full. Remove the print media from all output bins. The MFP automatically senses print media removal and resumes printing. If removing the print media does not clear the message, touch Continue. Remove paper from bin [x] The specified output bin is full. Remove the stack of paper from the specified bin. The MFP automatically senses print media removal and resumes printing. If removing the print media does not clear the message, touch Continue. Remove paper from [linked set bin name] The linked set of output bins previously defined with a specific name by the user or system support person is full. Remove the print media from all the linked output bins. The MFP automatically senses print media removal and resumes printing. If removing the print media does not clear the message, touch Continue. Remove paper from standard output bin The standard output bin is full of print media. Remove the stack of print media from the bin to clear the message and resume printing.
