Using the MFP menus Menu item Darkness Purpose Values and descriptions Specifies the level of darkness 1-9 (5*) for the copy job. A graphic representation depicts the values. As the right or left scroll button is touched, the asterisk moves back and forth on the line. 1 is next to the - and 9 is next to the +. As shown, 5 is the current value. - + Output Bin Number of Copies Overlay Specifies the bin which receives the copy once it is printed. *Standard Bin This menu item displays when at least one optional [list of output bin is installed. available bins] Specifies the number of copies 1-999 (1*) for the copy job. Specifies the selection for overlay text to print on each page of the copy job. The overlay looks similar to the following on a page: Confidential Copy Draft Urgent Custom Off* The Custom value is not shown unless text is entered into the Custom Overlay text field from the EWS page. The text used for the overlay is what the user entered on the EWS page, but Custom must be selected in the menu for the text to be printed as an overlay on each page. Confidential Custom Overlay Allow priority copies Custom Job scanning Background Removal Contrast Specifies a custom overlay. text entry field Allows interruption to a network print job, so the MFP may be used as a copier to copy a page or document. Specifies if Custom Job scanning is On or Off. This is also known as Job Build. Custom Job is not supported on all models. Adjusts the amount of background visible on a copy. On* Off On Off* -4 to +4 (0*) Specifies the contrast used for 0-5 the copy job. The default is dependent on the Content menu item. If the Content menu item is reset from the default setting, then the default for Contrast is reset, also. Use the text entry field to specify a custom overlay. The field has a 64-character limit.
