Understanding the operator panel PCL Emul Menu Use the PCL Emul Menu to change printer settings that only affect jobs using the PCL emulation printer language. Note: Values marked by an asterisk (*) are the factory default settings. Menu item A4 Width Purpose To select the width of the logical page for A4 size paper. Values 198 mm* 203 mm Auto CR after To specify whether the printer Off* LF automatically performs a carriage return after a line feed control command. On Auto LF after CR To specify whether the printer Off* automatically performs a line feed after a carriage return control command. On Font Name To choose a specific font from the specified font source. R0 Courier 10* Font Source To determine the set of fonts displayed Resident* in the Font Name menu item. Download Flash All Lines per Page To determine the number of lines that print on each page. Orientation To determine how text and graphics are oriented on the page. 1...255 60* (country/regionspecific factory default values) 64* (country/regionspecific factory default values) Portrait* Landscape Makes the logical page compatible with the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 5 Printer.
