Chapter 7 SGE2000/SGE2000P Gigabit Ethernet Switch Reference Guide ARP Settings Page The ARP Settings Page contains the following fields: • Interface - Indicates the interface connected to the device. • IP Address - Indicates the station IP address, which is associated with the MAC address filled in below. • MAC Address - Indicates the station MAC address, which is associated in the ARP table with the IP address. • Status - Indicates the ARP Table entry status. Possible field values are: - Dynamic - Indicates the ARP entry was learned dynamically. - Static - Indicates the ARP entry is a static entry. 3. Define the relevant fields. 4. Click Apply. The ARP Settings are modified, and the device is updated. Defining IP Routing Once the switch has been defined as a router, statics routes can be defined. To define IP Routing: 1.
