BIOS Setup energy. The information stored in memory will be used to re store the system when a "wake up" event occurs. Auto BIOS determines the best mode automatically. Re-Call VGA BIOS at S3 Resuming Selecting Enabled allows BIOS to call VGA BIOS to initialize the VGA card when system wakes up (resumes) from S3 sleep state. The system resume time is shortened when you disable the function, but system will need an AGP driver to initialize the VGA card. Therefore, if the AGP driver of the card does not support the initialization feature, the display may work abnormally or not function after resuming from S3. Power Management/APM Setting to Enabled will activate an Advanced Power Management (APM) device to enhance Max Saving mode and stop CPU internal clock. Settings: Disabled, Enabled. Suspend Time Out (Minute) After the selected period of system inactivity, all devices except the CPU shut off. Settings: Disabled, 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60. Power Button Function This feature sets the function of the power button. Settings are: On/Off The power button functions as normal power off button. Suspend When you press the power button, the computer enters the suspend/sleep mode, but if the button is pressed for more than four seconds, the computer is turned off. Restore on AC/Power Loss This setting specifies whether your system will reboot after a power failure or interrupt occurs. Available settings are: Power Off Leaves the computer in the power off state. Power On Leaves the computer in the power on state. Last State Restores the system to the previous status before power failure or interrupt occurred. Set Monitor Events Press and the following sub-menu appears. 3-17
