VIA VT8237R/ VT8237R Plus SATA RAID Introduction Using VIA RAID Tool Once the installation is complete, go to Start ---> Programs --->VIA ---> RAID ---> raid_tool.exe to enable VIA RAID Tool. After the software is finished installation, it will automati- cally started every time Windows is initiated. You may double-click on the icon shown in the system tray of the tool bar to launch the VIA RAID Tool utility. The main interface is divided into two windows and the toolbar above contain the main functions. Click on these toolbar buttons to execute their specific functions. The left windowpane displays the controller and disk drives and the right windowpane displays the details of the controller or disk drives.
