When automatic redial is turned off, you can manually activate the feature to redial a phone number. When you hear a fast busy signal and see Call Failed, press N or RETRY (+) to activate automatic redial. Turning Off a Call Alert You can turn off your phone's incoming call alert before answering the call. Press either volume key to turn off the alert. Calling an Emergency Number Your service provider programs 1 or more emergency phone numbers, such as 911, that you can call under any circumstances, even when your phone is locked. Note: Emergency numbers vary by country. Your phone's preprogrammed emergency number(s) may not work in all locations, and sometimes an emergency call cannot be placed due to network, environmental, or interference issues. 1 Enter the emergency number. 2 Press N to call the emergency number.
