Rebooting will break any existing connections either to the Router (such as this one) or through the Router (for example, LAN users accessing the Internet). However, connections to the Internet will automatically be re-established when possible. Upgrading the Router's Firmware The software of the FVL328 Firewall is stored in FLASH memory, and can be upgraded as new software is released by NETGEAR. Upgrade files can be downloaded from the NETGEAR Web site. If the upgrade file is compressed (.ZIP file), you must first extract the binary (.BIN or .IMG) file before uploading it to the firewall. The Web browser used to upload new firmware into the firewall must support HTTP uploads. Use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above, or Netscape Navigator 4.7 or above. Log in to the firewall at its default LAN address of http://192.168.0.1 with its default user name of admin, default password of password, or using whatever password and LAN address you have chosen for the firewall. 3.
