1 Install Batteries and Check Battery Power Use two CR123A or DL123Atype 3V lithium batteries. (For other power sources, see page 9 6 .) 1.1 Turn the power switch off and open the battery chamber cover by sliding the battery chamber cover lock lever toward indicated direction. 1.2 Insert batteries with the "EB" and "8 " ends positioned as marked inside the battery chamber cover, then firmly close the battery chamber cover. • Incorrect positioning of EEl and 8 poles may damage the camera. 1.3 Turn the power switch on and confirm battery power with the _~ indication. ~[ 16
