2 Check indicators in the viewfinder. When the focus operation is complete, the in-focus indicator (I) will appear in the viewfinder. Viewfinder display I 2 4 24 (flashes) Description Subject in focus. Focus point is between camera and subject. Focus point is behind subject. Camera unable to focus on subject in focus point using autofocus. While the shutter-release button is pressed halfway, s focus will lock and the number of exposures that can be stored in the memory buffer ("t"; 0 47) will be shown in the viewfinder display. Smoothly press the shutter- release-button the rest of the way down to release the shutter and record the photograph. While the photograph is being recorded Memory card access lamp to the memory card, the memory card access lamp will light. Do not eject the memory card or remove or disconnect the power source until the lamp has gone out and recording is complete. 32
