Colors are unnatural. Randomly spaced bright pixels ("noise") appear in image. Pictures are too dark (underexposed). Lens is dirty. Clean lens. White balance does not match light source. The subject is dark, so shutter speed is too slow or ISO sensitivity is too high. Noise can be reduced by: • Use flash. • Specifying a lower ISO sensitivity setting. • Using a scene mode which has noise reduction ability. • Flash is W (off ). • Flash window is blocked. • Subject is beyond flash range. • Adjust exposure compensation. • Use high sensitivity mode, or raise the ISO sensitivity. • Subject is backlit. Use Backlight or change the flash mode to X (fill flash). Pictures are too bright (overexposed). Adjust exposure compensation.
