Shooting Suited for the Scenes Shooting Suited for the Scenes Shooting in Scene Mode Camera settings are automatically optimized for the selected subject type. The following scene modes are available. x Scene auto selector b Portrait f Party/indoor g Beach/snow j Night landscape k Close-up m Fireworks show n Copy E Voice recording* * See "Voice Recordings" (A81). c Landscape h Sunset u Food o Backlight e Night portrait i Dusk/dawn l Museum p Panorama assist Setting the Scene Mode 1 Display the shooting-mode selection menu by pressing the A button in shooting mode, and use the rotary multi selector to choose a scene icon. • The icon for the scene mode that was chosen previously will be displayed. The default setting is x (Scene auto selector). Scene auto selector 2 Press K, choose a scene and press the k button. 3 Frame the subject and take the picture. Beach/snow 1/250 F3.5 C Image Mode Image mode (A100) settings can be changed in the scene mode by pressing the d button. Changes made to the image mode setting apply to all shooting modes (except for sport continuous mode, high sensitivity mode or movie mode). 35
