Shooting in Scene Mode k Close-up Photograph flowers, insects and other small objects at close range. • Macro mode (A33) will be turned on and the camera automatically zooms to the position at the closest distance at which the camera can focus. The closest distance at which the camera can focus varies depending on the zoom position. The camera can focus at a distance of 2 cm (0.8 in.) at the zoom position at which F and the zoom indicator glow green (the zoom indicator is at G). • AF area mode is set to Manual. Press the k button to choose the focus area in which focus is acquired. (A110). • The camera focuses continuously until focus is locked by pressing the shutter-release button halfway. • As pictures are easily affected by camera shake, check the Vibration reduction (A131) setting and hold the camera steadily.
