Other memory cards, such as Secure Digital (SD) cards, do not fit in the MMC card slot and are not compatible with this device. Using an incompatible memory card may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the incompatible card may be corrupted. You can use a multimedia card to extend the memory of Gallery. See Gallery on page 72. Your phone supports MultiMediaCards with a capacity of up to 512 MB. 1. Remove the back cover and battery from the phone. See Install the SIM card and the battery on page 12. 2. Place the multimedia card in the card holder. Make sure that the multimedia card is properly inserted and that the golden contact area on the card is facing downwards. 3. Replace the battery and back cover of the phone.
