Call functions • Swap to switch between the active call and the call on hold (network service). • Transfer to connect a call on hold to an active call, and disconnect yourself from the calls (network service). • Loudspeaker to use your phone as a loudspeaker during a call. Do not hold the phone to your ear while using the loudspeaker. To activate or deactivate the loudspeaker, select Loudspeaker or Handset, or select Loudsp. or Normal. The loudspeaker is automatically deactivated when you end the call or call attempt, or connect the hands-free unit or headset to the phone. If you have connected a compatible hands-free unit or the headset to the phone, Handset in the options list is replaced with Handsfree or Headset and the selection key Normal with Handsf. or Heads., respectively. You can use the loudspeaker with the radio or the music player. See Basic radio functions on page 78 or Music player on page 75. Warning: Do not hold the device near your ear when the loudspeaker is in use, because the volume may be extremely loud. 24
