Menu functions • Use GPRS > Yes to set GPRS as the preferred SMS bearer. Also, select GPRS connection > Always online. See (E)GPRS connection on page 66. • Reply via same centre to allow the recipient of your message to send you a reply using your message center (network service). • Rename sending profile to change the name of the selected message profile. The message profile sets are only displayed if your SIM card supports more than one set. You cannot rename the default profile. 3. Save sent messages > Yes to set the phone to save the sent text messages in the Sent items folder. 4. Automatic resending > On to set the phone to automatically resend the message if the initial send attempt does not succeed. Multimedia message settings The message settings affect the sending, receiving, and viewing of multimedia messages. You may receive the configuration settings for multimedia messaging as a configuration message. See Configuration settings service on page 11. You can also enter the settings manually. See Configuration on page 70. To select the multimedia message settings, select Menu > Messages > Message settings > Multimedia msgs.. Select from the following settings: • Save sent messages > Yes to set the phone to save sent multimedia messages in the Sent items folder. • Delivery reports to ask the network to send delivery reports about your messages (network service). • Scale image down to define the image size when you insert an image to a multimedia message. • Default slide timing to define the default time between slides in multimedia messages. • Allow multimedia reception. To receive or to block the multimedia message, select Yes or No. If you select In home network, you cannot receive multimedia messages when outside your home network. 49
